Dr. Simon Hodes is an outstanding GP who truly cares about his patients. I have always found him to be an excellent listener who takes the time to address all of my concerns. He is happy to answer any questions that I have, and he goes out of his way to make sure that I feel heard and understood. I highly recommend him to anyone in search of a caring and exceptional GP.

I actively sought to find Dr Hodes at The Cleveland Clinic. He was my GP for many years at our local practice and as soon as I knew that I needed a top GP it made sense to find Dr Hodes. I paid myself to see him and I would pay again just to have that total reassurance and comprehensive care that Dr Hodes provides and always has done. He is incredibly thorough, considered, realistic and takes time to understand your context and perspective. He has never looked for a ‘quick fix’ and will work hard to ensure that you have exactly what you need to get better. His warmth and good humour make seeing the doctor very positive experience!

Doctor Hodes has been our family GP for 20 years. He has seen us through tough times with my Mums illness but was responsible, in my opinion, for saving her life by taking prompt and decisive action during her illness. Beyond this he has supported me personally through his understanding of me and my recent diagnosis of Type 2 diabetes. We had daily calls in the early stages where he provided excellent support in a calm and reassuring way that built my confidence and allowed me to cope. His further suggestions of diet changes and medication changes mean that I am now drug free and in complete remission with blood levels all under control. Thanks to his knowledge and his caring attitude throughout. I have complete confidence and trust in him and have have talked to him on a number of occasions when I needed guidance and support. He is a credit to his profession, he goes above and beyond regularly and I would highly recommend him as a GP and more than that, someone who actually cares.
